  At a loss what to do RE: JW family and my kids

  i have 2 small kids, ages 4 and 5 yrs and one on the way (via adoption!).

  my husband and i faded/suddenly disappeared last fall, never to go back to meetings.

  we outed ourselves and told our super hardcore parents/family members that we didn't believe it anymore, were choosing a different path etc.

  I think you should remember why they shun you, It's because they want you to feel alone & empty & return to jws so you need to play their game with them for the same reason that they feel empty & alone w/o their grandchildren & you and stop playing the wtbs game. I would not give into them they're making a choice let them live with it.

  i'm watching "you've got mail" for the zillionth time... it just has to be one the greatest romantic comedies ever made!!!.

  Bitterness

  how do you overcome this?

  i just got done reading isocf and toward the end ray warns against bitterness.

  i guess i just can't agree with that.

  Something I really hate about the wtbs is the constant barrage of were the happiest people. I don't want to be told how I feel especially by an organization who is making me feel unhappy. They constantly say things like we're looking forward with anticipation to an week of increased activity when the co comes how joyful we are and I was thinking no I'm not joyful I have no interest in his visit or increased activity. I don't want to feed him or work with him. another thing is calling unpleasant jobs privileges.

  I don't like all this pretending I feel a way that I don't so its refreshing to get real if you're bitter spit it out "I'm bitter" yea maybe I won't be tomorrow because each day my feelings change. So don't worry about it feelings come & go and time really does heal its ok to hate them they deserve it remember there are some happy things yet to come make a memory do something weird.
